Eden implements telecommunication solutions in 2 ways. Either as a "compact" system providing an instant solution that extends up to 10 users or a "modular" system starting as low as 5 users and enabling your business to pick and choose (and add to later on) as the needs of the business grow.
The solution is deployed as part of a PC or server (instantly extending its capability to include the telecommunication needs of the business) and provides telephony services to users via SoftPhone (software installed to a user's laptop/desktop) or through a traditional "handset on the desk"
Key Functions

The key functions available (either as a "bundle" or individually) include:-

  • SoftPhone - Turn your laptop or desktop into a full-function telephone handset with the software managing all functions such as - dial, re-dial, transfer, hold, forward, callback, speed dials, conferencing and more..
  • Voicemail provides every user with a highly featured voicemail environment without the associated expense of other systems. Voicemails can be accessed remotely, delivered to an email inobox as a sound file, forwarded/replied to via the email inbox and compressed to conserve diskspace. Additionally, the voicemail service is highly configurable by each user, including selecting and recording different messages for particular scenarios.
  • Conferencing - Run conference calls either initiated by an individual user or by dialling directly into a virtual conference room with a unique extension number.
  • Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) allows for the seamlessly integration of PC and Handset. Either is available to use if the other is unavailable but the true value of CTI comes from the flexibility for a user to choose, on an individual task basis, which tool best suits tohe purpose.
  • Extended Call Routing (ECR) is an easy-to-use graphical tool that allows users to set up simple or complex call handling based upon the decision making of the caller (ie - "press 1 to be transfered to my mobile").
  • Fax provides the option for each user to send and receive faxes from/to their desktop. Incoming faxes are received by the telephone system abd converted to an image file before being forwarded to the individual user's email inbox.
  • Call Recording enables users to record ad-hoc conversations directly within their SoftPhone program at the press of a button. Call's are then recorded and stored in a location of the user's choice and can be played back using standard software such as Windows Media Player).
  • Call Monitoring allows for all calls (in and out) to be recorded automatically and stored on a computer for retrieval by the system administrator. Additionally, the Monitor option provides the ability to silently monitor a conversation, useful for providing users with feedback to assist them in improving their call skils.
  • Standby enables a secondary computer to continually "mirror" the primary system to provide a failover capability in the event of a loss of service to the core system.
  • Call Log enables reporting of calls made (differentiated by department, project or employee etc) with reports automatically emailed out.
  • Branch Connect suitable for organisations with multiple locations to be fully and securely connected with the "head Office" system. Redundancy is available to protect against loss of connection tothe main site plus a configurable "localised breakout" capability.
