The Eden Network

Eden provides IT Support, IT Systems and a range of Telecommunications services and support to businesses of between 1 and 100 users.

Our key objectives are to address the 2 primary areas of technology infrastructure (namely IT and Telecommunications) through a combination of in-house skills and tier 1 vendor relationships.

As our business grows, we are increasingly needing to call on the services of "associates" to implement and support the range of technologies that we focus on. For the benefit of our clients, we do not simply take your name and "send you onsite" - we need to know and trust you. To that end, we meet all people with whom we work, take up references and (where possible) examine previous work undertaken to establish beyond doubt that you can operate to a high standard.

Eden Franchising

Eden is currently examining the possibility of Franchising. To find out more about what this is and means, please visit the British Franchise Association website at http://www.thebfa.org.

Our examiniation of this remains at an early stage, but, quite clearly there are great potential benefits for Eden (the potential Franchisor) and you (the potential Franchisee).

Eden has spent a considerable amount of time and money investing in the key systems our clients require (Domain Registration, Shared/Dedciated and Co-Location Hosting, Broadband, Telecommunications including our own in-house billing platform and more) along with maintaining relationships with key vendors such as Microsoft, Dell, Linksys and the required regulatory agencies including Ofcom, ISPA and CISAS.

Eden believes that (subject to a potential Franchisee strictly adhering to the various conduct codes and partnership agreements that we must agree to) - our investment across all these areas represents huge value to potential "Senior Technical Staff" who are examining the possibility of running their own business in a specific locality but see the process of developing their own fully-accredited business daunting.

In short, if you enjoy the technology of IT and Telecommunciations, would like to be your own boss but also understand the benefits of having the full backup of an organisation who has and continues to accomplish this - Eden could be for you.

As a minimum, we would expect you to be comfortable/accredited in areas such as Microsoft Desktop O/S, Microsoft Server O/S and the range of typical applications such as Office, Exchange, SQL Server. Most important of all - you must possess the personality to be able to deal with people (your support users) in a respectful, uncomplicated and friendly manner.
