
Code of Practice
An integral part of Eden's approach to delivering robust technology solutions is the accreditations (some required, some voluntary) that we must obtain.
As a responsible Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Telecommunications Service Provider (SP) Eden is registered with a number of organisations who are (amonst other things) focussed on driving high-levels of ethical practice through both the voluntary adoption of working practices and the "policing" (with appropriate penalties) of their members.
Sections 52 and 53 of the Telecommunications Act 2003 place a requirement on Internet and Telecommunication service providers to (amongst other things) produce a formal Dispute Resolution and Complaint Handling Code of Practice.
Ofcom is the regulatory authority responsible for ensuring that the requirments of the 2003 Act are abided by.
